What are you most excitied for, and what would you love to see in the upcoming content update?

Personally I'm super happy that swimming won't take forever now

As you might have noticed Loka often keeps some mobs from being where they would be - to place them in a better spot - custom content for Loka

I do think phantoms will be reserved for some custom stuff, same as elder guardian.

Nobody will bother going to sleep to avoid them spawning.

But the things you mentioned were block /mob lag, which is server-side, not due to 1.13
