Hello everyone, I wanted to suggest some things that may improve the practice PvP experience on Loka!
-Adding a Practice server with dedicated ladders for each type of PvP (PotPvP, BuildUHC, Archer etc..):
Well, this is pretty self-explainable and although Loka is not just a PvP-centered server I think it'd be a great addition!
-Adding the ability to choose which map you want to fight someone on in unranked /duels.
-Changing the Arenas to more Kohi-like maps (Kohi was a really good practice server), so basically something flat that looks cool at the same time so players have the ability of strafing other than just critting.
-Adding the ability to choose between Golden Carrots and Steak in the PotPvP kit: Some players may like
to play more aggresively (with steak, since it refills 4 hunger bars) while some others may prefer getting more regen every time they eat (Golden Carrots)
-Adding pearls to the PotPvP kit (The 12 seconds pearl cooldown should be added too of course):A really important skill in PotPvP is mastering how to aggro pearl, which is a technique that consists in pearling at your opponent when he's about to throw a potion so that you can knock him away from his pot (This could be fatal if the opponent decides to pot when he's very low).
-Adding an ELO rating decay: It's a known fact that when players get top positions on the leaderboards stop queueing for ranked matches because they fear to lose their precious spot. By adding an ELO rating decay top players would be forced to queue so even people that started grinding ELO late have a chance to make their way up the top.
-Changing the potion mechanics: What do I mean by that? Well, some of you may or may not know that after the 1.9 update the potion mechanics changed, back in 1.8> if you threw a potion forward you were able to get the full 4 hearts heal effect out of it since it hit your head, nowadays that's not the case since the only way to get the full effect from a splash potion is by splashing it above your head which to be frank is pretty dull. But hey! By using (or creating)certain plug-ins (such as the "FastPot" plug-in) it is possible to edit the potion speed and gravity so that the old potion mechanics can be brought to 1.9+, this would make PvP more interesting.
EDIT: Forgot to add this.. Adding a /party command to host team fights or red rovers:Even though you might say those can be done in PG, well, there's a few issues such as
A) The players all have random colours so it's hard to tell who's on whose team
B) some players who're not participating usually interupt the fights which is pretty annoying.
