Uhm, I'm a little bit boiling inside, yet i want to make this complain as civil and constructive as possible.
So what happened: The Horseman boss spawned inside my storage room while I was sorting chests, caught me a bit off-guard. On top of that I was running arround with ~15fps as I had my shaders turned on for making some sweet screenshots. Anyway it was quite a nice fight (got him down to 4/20 healthbars) until unfortunately he knockbacked me down the deep ravine that is guarding the Myrmidon citadel, quickly finishing me off down there.
Quickly I grabbed another prot4 set, weapons and potions I had arround to finish the job, but this is where things started to get a bit ridiculous.
Now he was wearing my previous prot4 set. I, being somewhat of a mid-tier pvper, now with several potion buffs and smooth fps found myself being absolutely murdered again since now even with dropping sharp5+strenght2 boosted critical hits on him I was barely able to do any visible damage to his remaining health bars while he on the other hand each time countered with doing 2-3 hearts damage, summoning minions and shooting explosive fire (even underwater). At some point when I finally found another bow and some arrows, being my final chance to retrieve my gear, he just despawned.
I get and like the idea of spicing up everyday life on Loka with some randomly spawned events/bosses.
I also agree he is not that hard to beat (if not wearing armor), that was a bit of an unlucky timing.
But please can we get a proper warning with idk maybe a few minutes of preparation? So that one can stop his current work, turn off shaders, dump some valuables, get some pots and maybe switch to a place that doesnt favor incredible knockback?
Also can we like not have him pick up gear? I believe the reason for minecraft bosses to have loads of health is to make up for their missing armor, but if that gets paired with armor that lowers dmg by percentage it get's straight-out op. If I loose any other video game bossfight I get a chance to do it again beating him with better skill/strategy. But right here the boss just got ridiculously stronger while I had to fight with worse gear.
If I loose 3 semi-god sets to a player raid then I need to pay better attention in the future, increase my base defense, do some diplomacy etc.
If I loose that gear in my perfectly safe base to events that are somewhat out of my controll then it's simply really damn frustrating.
Thanks & Cheers

Edit: I'm not sure if this belongs to suggestions, pardon me if not.
