As many of you know, there are 3 alliances on Ascalon, Regional Powers, Fruit Force, and Luxor Coalition.

In a simplified manner, imagine 3 alliances, A, B and C.
- Alliance A & B are friendly with eachother, and hostile to C.
- All 3 alliances have roughly the same amount of people warping to fights.
- Alliance A & B place on alliance C at the same time
- This means that alliance C has no chance to be able to defend both fights.

The problem:

Now, since Regional Powers and Fruit Force are friendly with each other, it's possible that they can both place at the same time on a tile of Luxor's. This means Luxor automatically loses at least 1 fight.
Splitting Luxor alliance's players across both fights would be impossible due to the amount of players totalled across both Fruit Force and Regional Powers, so this wouldn't work.

The solution:
So, it could be a good idea to add a timer which disables different alliances from placing on the alliance that just got placed on.
How long could the timer be?
The timer could be around 30 minutes, as this gives time for the alliance to defend the first fight, and warp to the second.


In my opinion, (and alot of other people's) the fact that this is possible to do in Loka is really unfair, and can put "alliance C" in a huge disadvantage.
 
+1 stupid how 2 alliances can just place at once in another to just have "free wins" or make the enemy have to split their numbers losing all the chance to win either of the fights
 
they would also be warping double you're numbers if they merged into the same alliance trade off i guess its cheesy but the entire monf was cheese

I agree with skuhoo when he says they could always join 1 alliance and split numbers same way. Only difference it makes is that they can only do one double place instead of two. If loka is looking to accommodate new towns and players not connected to current loka alliances, maybe making this change would help out new towns. Personally, I think if you can call a mechanic “cheese” it should probably be changed/nerfed.
 
I appreciate the well-presented post, but clearly, I am missing something. There are almost no tangible benefits that I see of splitting an alliance in two as opposed to being together. The ONLY slight advantage is you can attack a single town 5 times instead of 3 per day (as a result of a town having 5 defends and 3 attacks). The only way if this even becomes a factor is if you allow a conquest month to come down to the final day, and even then using your attacks to outnumber a single one of the two groups would mitigate this. This is completely avoidable.

The downsides are numerous, you cannot both be on Balak, you always have to split your fights and cannot send all your numbers to a single fight, your strength is split between two groups, your land is easier to disconnect, etc. I can't even fathom how this could be considered cheese.
