Suggestion Armour Stands

As a builder I love being able to add small details into my build that really brings a space to life, Minecraft thankfully has many little tricks to do this like skulls, item frames etc. However there's one thing i think has been underutilized and would be great to be improved upon is armor stands.
In the bedrock edition of Minecraft Armour stands can be given arms and even posed by shift right clicking on the stand. This meant armor stands could be used as a substitute for people, can hold items and be fused into walls as tool racks and a really cool way to show off your lored set of armor and tools.

Obviously we're not in the bedrock edition of the game but using the awesome datapacks people have been able to recreate this to really bring armor stands to life. A good example of this and probably the best version of something like this is made by Xisumavoid.
The idea with this datapack is you are able to obtain a book which can be given to player via command/command block.
It allows you to lock onto an armor stand and then customize its pose, give it arms and really shape them in any way you wish that lets you make really cool things:

Especially for a conquest like server as Loka it'd be awesome to position armor stands with bow's ready on top of watch towers, sit around in the tavern having a good time and bring an empty town to life.

Not a new idea, I think it got lost along the way, definitely suggested a couple times

+1 I recall some servers which implement said it contributed to server lag, still cool tho

The concept is cool, but one of the big concerns is how draining armour stands are on the server. Since they are entities, which tick, they can quickly add up to cause lag. Having said that I think they would be cool as a reward for towns. Either for hitting certain mastery levels, conquest achievements, town levels etc. We will likely revisit this when we take a look at town progression and flesh out some of the town mechanics even further.

Is there a way to put a limit on them like with item frames and hoppers? If you had to be a higher leveled town and had a limit on them that could limit the strain on the server.
I don't know much about how servers work so I've probably overlooked something obvious with that statement but i'll throw it out anyway.

EDIT: Thinking about is there any way to test how much laggier it would be over regular armor stands? I wouldnt assume them to be much worst than regular stands but i guess it'd depend on how much the armor stand would be edited etc.

I appreciate this goes off topic. However, is Loka considering implementing unlockable server features based on town progression of levels?

How about if a town digs out at least 1 million blocks of their town they get access to these wonderful things?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by server features, but things we had in mind were unique aesthetic things for towns (such as unique armour stands) and perks somewhat similar to current ones. We considered locking void storage behind town progression, but in the end decided against it, as it was such a core feature for a town. I could see us adding smaller, less core 'features' to town progression though.

Seems like a good thing to be purchasable through orbs. I'm all for making the server less straining on Cryptite, and adding an orb price would go some way to minimising the lag effect on the server if they were easily and cheaply attainable.

Bit out there idea but maybe people could pay orbs to boost their town, unlock features like armor stands etc
I'd pay for that :p
