Suggestion Book splitting enchantments!

Quick and easy suggestion -

Put a empty new book in crafting together with a book that has multiple enchantments on it, and old book stays in the crafting bench but now with the last enchantment transported into the new book.

Why is this needed?
Void Storage autosorting would be even more friendly to use, knowing that your enchantments are organised perfectly.

How would crafting work with an item staying in the crafting bench work? Example is cake, for it keeps buckets in the bench.

Do you mean the enchant which is displayed as the last enchantment on a book with multiple enchants gets put onto an unenchanted book?

If so, that's kinda op, let's say you get an enchanted book with protection 4 and sharpness 4, with this feature, you could take the sharpness 4 off the book with the enchants on onto the new unenchanted book, for free and apply both of the separate books to a sword and armour. If this took some xp it'd be much more balanced, it sounds like a cool idea, just a bit underdeveloped, hope my suggestion helps :)

Definitely should require a cost of some sort, exp is a good idea.

I really hope this is considered, or something similar is created, because as of now it’s legitimately better to store enchants outside of Void Storage. Personally, my Town won’t use VS for enchants until the feature is expanded on, so I’d love to see it fleshed out a bit more!

Edit:

If experience isn’t a suitable suggestion - I think it is, due to the existence of Exp Bottles - then maybe instead of using a regular book for the new enchantment, you’d need a custom item of sorts? A “magic book” or something, which you’d need certain resources to craft.
