I suggest adding rabbits to the desert now more then ever since you can't farm rabbit feet, raw rabbit, or rabbit hide on Ascalon by killing them unless you own the biome. (Apparently this was broke). This would also add to the desert resources and allow another place to obtain these resources. The desert currently only has cactus and carrots, which can be obtained in the Mesa which has more to offer than the desert. Another reason to add rabbits to desert is in vanilla there are desert rabbits that are fully golden, so why remove them from Loka!

With the great rejuvenation update, we rebalanced and removed some biomes, with the aim of making them more desirable than they were previously. Part of the consideration with this was taking into account some of the biome updates Mojang have teased at previous Minecon Earths.

While we agree there are some biomes that are still a bit lacking, such as the Desert, we don't think simply adding rabbits to them is the optimal solution. This would both devalue the 2 biomes rabbits are currently found in as well as devaluing the resources gained from rabbits. Instead, we are waiting for Mojang to revamp the Deserts and add Meerkats/Palm Trees.

As for the suggestion about adding rabbits to all of the taiga biomes; these biomes are already very strong and do not require further resources. Also at that point, we might as well make rabbits unprotected as they would be so readily available to so many people. It's also important to note we could only add rabbits to biomes that also contain carrots as that is the resource used to breed them.

What about having them like chickens on every continent then or at least letting their items drop so we can still get jump boost. The desert is of no value right now.
