Suggestion Camps for nomads

Either a zoned area in which the land doesn't regenerate, or a protected area for nomads to place their belongings. If a protected area, then it would act as a mini tgen with possible upgrades. Otherwise, it could be similar to how the barrel works, and would have to be a certain structure, and might have to include a campfire in the vicinity. To be balanced, a nomad could only have one camp at a time, and would have to be active/return to it often for it to be not regenerated. Going with the campfire idea, to keep the camp existing maybe the fire would have to be kept alight, or else it would ''burn out'' over a week.

When you set your /home i believe there is a 50x50 area around it that will not regen the land.

@ACwavelength did you look into posts like these in the past?
No, never read anything like this.

I don't care tents and useful campfires look cool

Anyway I still think there should be more support for nomads, ways in which they can group together in clans or stuff. Or a levelling system for being a nomad from which they can unlock unique perks similar to towns but more small scale and orientated toward exploration and looting.

I second this.
My best guess is to make such a camp a premade placeable structure such as industry buildings offering 1-2 lockable chests & a fix spawnpoint (serving as "town portal" possibly replacing /tpa for nomads). It could be upgraded using shards or biome specific resources for more bonuses (eg. a brewing stand, e-table or increased regen while close to campfire).
Would be kinda cool if new people starting a town would, instead of simply setting their /home next to a tgen, make an actual camp together to prepare for the fight.
Tho I feel, except for the chest, there should be no other form of protection as to keep people motivated to actually start a town.
Also given the tile of land they camp on is being claimed they should get a short period of time (24hours?) to relocate their camp.
All in all it would give some reasonable benefits to nomads while increasing immersion by a lot.

I played an MC server years ago that mirrored the Civilization games. To start off there, you first had to build a "camp" that had just the basics for survival and a small money-making devise. It was a cool concept that made us feel we were progressing to something greater and the idea of a fully fledged town was a little more valuable because of it. Cool idea.

The idea of playing on a Towny/Conquest server is to create/join a town and play together. If you add protection to nomads then it will become a survival server in which everyone could just make their house wherever they want.

And when you build as a nomad it doesnt regen i think

I don't play loka for conquest, what I like about it is the exploration and built in lore. Of course loka should prioritise features to do with towns and conquest, but they aren't the only things the server is good for. These ideas would make it so that players could lead a different lifestyle other than just living in a town.
