Celebrating Pets

Hey, all.

My family got some really rough news today... our dog has about a month to live. We've had for for around 8 years now. She has some sort of cancer in her leg, and it's cut off a nerve, making it impossible to move one of her front legs. The cancer is supposed to keep growing and spreading, and unfortunately it's not treatable, even by taking that leg off. We will shower her with love until the pain becomes unbearable for her, and then we will say goodbye.

That being said, I want to take a moment to celebrate pets and how important they are to so many people. If you have a pet, or have lost one, please post a picture here and tell us about them! Pets are such a joy to have around and offer so much love and affection. Here's mine!

Damn Nerdie I feel you man. I recently lost my dog because he had cancer, he died at the age of 11, he was a german sheperd and he was very shy and loved to lick peoples hands. My other dog had a stroke last year and 2 days ago I heard he had another stroke and now he's blind and cant walk properly anymore... honestly this is so unfair and it really hurts and to make it even worse my third dog is really sick too

I've lost all my pictures but I used to dog-sit a cute little pug. The guy was so tiny he could sit in my hands, not arms, hands. Pupper's family moved away and I haven't seen them since. His name was Sam btw. Anyways here's a picture that's similar to how the little guy was.
