No Plans to Implement Change the host

Hi lokans, and admins;

I wanted to open a topic about the increase in pings and instantaneous lag spikes after the last update, which I heard from all my friends and most EU players on the server. My friends who used to get 120 ms say they get 150-160 ms. And our instantaneous ping values sometimes go up to 400. It takes time for it to fall back to normal levels. Please, all we ask from you is to return to the old host. I'm putting a screenshot of this moment below. I took this screenshot about 5 minutes ago.

My ping has not been stable for almost 4 days. While I used to get 140 ping, now I get at least 200 and it suddenly increases from 2000 to 3000 ping.

Given your region, your ping is actually remarkably stable and almost entirely unchanged from before the move. You had one period of exactly about 10m where your ping was in the 200s but no other player in your country experienced this. Sounds like you or somebody was maybe downloading something in your house?

Saying "most EU players on the server" are experiencing worse ping is objectively false. There are certain players affected by this ping for the better, and certain for the worse, but many many players have reported more stable pings. No players who benefitted from the host change are going to make forums posts about it or complain about it in public, it's important to keep this in mind when making statements that speak on behalf of entire communities.

We continue to keep an eye on latency but no matter where we have our host, some players will benefit, some will have issues. The best you can do is make sure you're not on Wifi.

You are right. But this lag spike does not only happen to me, other friends also experience it.
