Changes to Conquest and T Gen Costs

Territory Generator Costs

We have made a big change in the cost of T Gens, which I am sure will get a mixed reaction. I would like to start off by saying these numbers are not set in stone and may be adjusted in the future based off of your feedback. The idea behind these changes is to prevent it being so easy to max out your T gen coverage in a day. It will also provide a larger reward for attacking the bigger more established towns and should hopefully reduce the attacks made on smaller towns. On a similar note conquest should be a bit more accessible to new towns with the cheaper entry costs. The reason for the huge jumps in price after 20 T gens is that the only benefit gained from owning more than 20 is the land it covers. (Basically having more than 20 is just greedy :P) You gain no benefits from industries or T Gen attacks. This should help resolve issues with huge amounts of land being taken up by some towns as only the very top towns will be able to afford 30 T Gens.

Conquest Attacks

We have also reduced the max number of attacks you can make per day so you don't feel like you are forced to be online all day to win capital. The number of attacks you are able to make are based off of how many T gens your alliance has, which should encourage towns to have a decent number of T gens.

Where can we find the numbers for T-gen costs? Also, would towers also be treated the same way? Where each subsequent tower will cost more than the previous.

That's what he just posted; look at his first table.

For whatever reason I can't see the table in his post. Is there really a table in his post??

Update: There it is! For unknown reasons I can see the table on my phone but not my computer. Looks great!

I checked on my phone this time to make sure this wasn't already in the special PC invisible tables.

Will the prices of inhibitors go up? In my head at least it makes sense that they would cost a decent amount too. the idea being that you would put their price slightly above the average territory size you would like to see. In general people will no keep attacking smaller towns that give few conquest points especially if the cost of bringing down their T-gen is twice the cost of the T-gen itself.

There's already a lot of 'cost' associated with Inhibitors; it's just now Power Shards cost. Once you lay down an inhibitor, you're commiting to a fight. Even if nobody shows up to defend, you're going to be wearing down your Prot armor and will need to repair it. Worse, you could face a defense and then there'll be even more resource lost in terms of potions, food, durability loss. Even further, you might lose entirely, waste your shards, lose strength, etc.

TL;DR we want people to attack, that's why Inhibs are cheap.
