The community manager role is designed to streamline server and community communication. Duties include overseeing announcements and server events, communicating with the community, and gathering information about announcements.

- Organizing, leading and supporting community-based server events such as festivals, SOTS, etc.
- Manage LCRs in full
- Manage social media
- Support the creation of Lokan media in all capacities: video, text and audio.
- Monitor announcements while being made to ensure they meet the standard of Loka regarding format and grammar.
- Gathering information for announcements, forum posts, or discussions. This may involve accrediting players who supported projects, discussing server changes, or announcing server planning maintenance/outages.
- Community outreach. Act as reconnaissance to the overall community. Report issues sentiments, and have your pulse on the community's zeitgeist in a way owners cannot.
- Maintain the news segment or write for the website.
- Manage and create polls in the #polls channel.
- Manage Content Creators and YouTube Bounty.
