COOLEST IDEA

I'm a simple man. I just want mini Loka.

Bed wars but you just go in a super small map, claim more land hopefully, slowly upgrade the mini tiles you claimed to be more defendable.

Closer to if VoQ, bedwars and Loka had a weird love triangle baby.

Not even a Loka coolest Loka idea.

Gonna go ahead and fire off a few ideas I've thrown to other ppl before, before you all get angry about my idea of playing on Loka should give you rewards Places like Mineclub are able to boost their numbers by just giving rewards for being AFK. I'm not suggesting AFK should give rewards (adawee) but just simply participating in a low-risk server event should give you something in exchange for your time, whether it be a cosmetic or item.
  • Super low-risk low-reward grinding, basically like a minigame you play at spawn or something so you don't have to dedicate at minimum 30 minutes to make the trip worth (this is not the main method of grinding, more like "I have 15 minutes let me do something besides running around my town") This could be like a daily quest type deal or like an arcade-style game in a GUI where if you beat a score you would get a small reward like a stack of glowstone dust per day or something that would be given at random on a rotation, similar to Wario Ware where winning a bunch of these mini-games could net you coins to spend at a trader that would change daily. (just some basic ideas nothing really set in stone)

  • FUN grinding monuments, Let's be honest, current grinding sucks. Shrines are a chore to do and feel monotonous. Giving players something that jogs their brain while they get items would make grinding not so bad. Using my main example game, Rust, The dome monument requires you to parkour around it in order to collect all the loot inside. It's clear that you're grinding but it requires you to do something a little more enjoyable than left-clicking mobs. My main idea for this would be puzzle shrines or puzzle rooms similar to keycards on Rust. Giving players something to think through in order to get the reward would make it a little more enjoyable in the end. This could also be done with keycards where you do the base level shrine, get a level 1 keycard to gain the level 2, to gain the level 3, etc, etc. Each keycard would lose durability, the higher levels using more dura than the lower levels, also giving more loot the higher the level. This could also be chance-based where every level 1 doesn't guarantee you a level 2. implementing these into new nether/end dungeons with possible bosses sounds like a great project for the PvE and Build teams to collaborate on. This is my main grope for the current state of Loka as of now, so Mr. LCR Lurnn please take this into consideration.

  • Rivina League, I've suggested this a few times to lcrs, people would make like a team (somewhere from 3-5 maybe 10ish) from any continent, any town, any alliance, to compete in a mini Rivina tournament where teams are randomly matched up and fight on a randomized tile for each match (or pick/ban tiles). These fights would give the top placing teams special temporary titles for the winners and some possible either cosmetic or item reward to encourage people to play in it.

  • Point based Yellow Tag PvP An event where kills net you points rather than armor would allow for non-conquest PVP to last much longer. These events would happen at a SET TIME AND DAY (this is important for giving people with busy schedules something to be aware of instead of a few minutes or an hour's notice). this would allow for game modes such as KOTH, CTF, etc to happen. For team games, alliances or random teams would be chosen. Points could net players cosmetics or some item rewards.

  • Loka Stock Market This has been suggested a few times, but this one I'm gonna suggest as an industry for something like crafting or engineering. This industry would allow you to see the market prices from your town (these would also be at the market) and allow you to sell or buy items on the market directly out of your void storage for more or fewer shards than the current price. Even if there isn't a cool graph visual showing the stocks, just simply being able to list bulk items on the market would make it a much busier place and promote people selling restricted resources.

  • Something to give towns as a reward. I think this is something rarely if ever, talked about as a problem. In order to play Loka for what Loka is famous for (Conquest PvP) you have to grind potion materials. There are others, but potion materials are mostly the kicker when it comes to grinding time. For players spending hours supplying their mega towns with 40-50 warping, Pretty much everything they grind for is used by those 40-50 people, and they're suddenly left with no trace of what those hours went to. I completely understand the argument of "If you want mega town: grind." But outside of becoming a Loka millionaire, what else is there to look up towards? Pretty much every other metric of wealth or clout on the server is in material goods, shards, diamonds, and potion materials. I think something else should be given to towns that have done more than the typical town has. Someone who grinds all the way up to 25 is at the same level rewards-wise as a town like Eldritch that has been around forever. Something like a tech tree where you can spend points on industry buffs, more town perks, higher hopper/item frame counts, custom armor stand poses, etc could give people reason to further develop a town besides just getting intra-town portals or infinite pearls.

Although Nyx was sort of supposed to accomplish this, I think having a minigame style version of grinding could also be really cool.
FUN grinding monuments
I would really REALLY love to see a dungeon-type system in the future, and this seems to be a pretty similar idea. I think making them less dungeony and more monumenty would also be really good as people don't want to necessarily spend multiple hours in a dungeon.
Rivina League
Having this be some type of auto-occuring tournament with a set date and time each month (maybe either the last Sunday or the second to to last Sunday) would be really cool. If this did become a thing I think it would work best in a format of "Hey this island is now open! Go place a tile! You will be automatically matched up against other teams after an hour." Then maybe half an hour later everyone is matched up and boom, you fight one another, with fights rotating around between tiles. I think this work best with a form of conquest where you have something other than a tgen/inhib, with it and it's stats following you around between tiles. There could be big rewards for teams who deal the most damage to opposing teams, as well as rewards for whomever's conquest building takes the least damage.
KOTH, CTF, etc to happen.
KOTH is yes.
Loka Stock Market
Another cool idea for a Loka stock market would be some form of stock market based around your town. This would need some really complex math, however each town could have a certain number of shares, with them being valued based on both how many people buy the shares, as well as how good your town activity, level, conquest strength, and conquest points are. This wouldn't exactly be your suggestion, but would be INCREDIBLY cool if done the right way, and would allow people another way to make some proper money on the server through a method that is not the RI.
Something to give towns as a reward
I agree with a lot of the points here and think that a tech tree is a really good way to go with this, with your town gaining points and buffs as they level up individual town levels.

I think dungeons could also serve as an alternate way to get sets, found in dungeon chests or dropped from the mobs slain inside of it. I'm thinking of a super lengthy puzzle-based dungeon where you would fight bosses, and run through rooms in order to meet some sort of objective, and at the end, you could open a crate with cosmetics, extra items, or perks on the next run. Honestly might try and make a good attempt at one of these in the future sometime.

I honestly think this might be a better way to approach this lmao, still would like a market industry tho
