Invisible item frames are, item frames, but invisible. You can only obtain them with commands in vanilla, but I think it would be really nice if you could craft them on the server. They can add a lot of detail to builds and tiny interior things that just look overall nice. It will be a huge help for builders and builds to make them look nice.


For example, this is a bone on an invisible item frame that is on Loka docks, it might be small but it makes all the difference in detail.

While invisible item frame packs exist, like Mizuno's 16 Craft, I do think that this could be a nice addition to Loka.

An idea I have for how it could be made craftable would be simply to just have it made by recrafting them to change the tag with a resulting name change so people can keep track of whats what.

I don't think theres really a way for people to abuse it, I just would like if they weren't placeable outside towns

The plan is to include these with town progression when we put together that update. There are a few things we have not ironed out yet like caps/limits on them (whether they are treated the same as normal item frames) and how to show players where they are placed.

I thought that it could be a normal frame until an item goes in it or have a setting like the current zone viewing feature where you toggle it on which would show them with glowing
