What kind of designs do you use for Pearl Gates? I'd love to see some concepts!

Nerdie, I'd reply with examples from my town but sadly, I was in bed.
The best pearl gates are seamless in deisgn (merged with environment or decor); an example of this would be a cobblestone slab in a mainly cobblestone build.

I've started putting pearl gates in pillars etc for ease of movement around town and to above ground and it's very hard to spot if you didn't know it was there.

I've pearl-gated every public doorway I find. Anything smaller than one by one should keep pigs from getting inside. That's about the smallest thing you need to have.

#1 It's a creeper face. It's actually not that secure and there is a way to get through it (Although a very hard way.)

The best pearl gates are the ones hidden behind a door because pearl gates are inherently ugly.

Personally, our own pearl gate in Nassau is my favorite.

towns like Valentia and Auru use pearl gates for everything, but at least in Valentia you have access to brake the blocks to get a pearl. Loose your pearl in Auru your screwed.
