Yeah the messages at spawn are annoying. If we can't make it so that they only display once for each player, I think we should get rid of them altogether. The current player base who already understand the stuff at spawn can always help out new players if they get confused.

Ah OK. The messages have never worked properly for me. I get told every time I go to spawn that it's spawn.

Also, going through town portals sometimes spams you have left/entered the protection of the ancients messages.
