Custom Skies Resource Pack

I've recently been working on a completely custom texture pack which includes a custom sky that I thought you guys might like.

This particular pack that I am sharing has had every other custom texture removed so it is just the custom sky and all other default Minecraft textures. This allows you to put it on top of any other texture pack you have or just play vanilla minecraft with awesome skies. It's not entirely my original work as I've combined and edited several other textures so if you want to thank someone, most of the textures were provided by this guy.

It does require that you have Optifine and once the game is loaded you need to go into Settings -> Video Settings -> Quality and then make sure that 'Custom Sky' is set to "On".

If anyone has issues loading the pack let me know. I've tested it on both my macbook and windows desktop but perhaps there are individual issues that may break it.

Wow, you made this yourself? It looks incredible! Best sky texture I've seen for sure. One problem I've had with sky textures in the past is that they contrast with the regular minecraft environment a little too much, but yours blends with the existing surroundings perfectly, while being different enough to really make a lasting impression. A very well done pack. I'll definitely try it out some time!
