The reason you didn’t get anything was that you abused a bug to get him into combat. This happens when you or one of your friends crouches at the end of the docks and gets an invisible tag. Then, you walk up to a player, and they might hit you because they can't see that you're tagged due to the invisibility in combat. The reason he doesn’t drop a set is that he never leaves the sanctuary. If you want him to drop one, you need to get him out of there
this happened to me before as well, it wasn't an invisible tag or anything but because he never left docks nothing dropped. Im only coping cuz i killed the guy in a garaman set
Ima be real I just heard fighting I wasn’t in combat at the time iirc
Edit looking back on it I kept my at 3 times by combat tagging someone inside of docks ans being blatantly tagged
