DoktorDuck has been a member of Loka since November 2014, is apart of Samsara/Riften, has never been banned from Loka, and he also helps assist new players in his spare time.. He is helping a new player as I post this. Very nice and has a great sense of humor. He showed players around spawn, explained how towns, territories, and how our PVP systems work. Teaching players to how to pvp, and other stuff. If this doesn't sound slicer material to you then idk what does!

You're funny. He may have all these good traits and but he has only been on Loka for about 6 months if your timeline is correct. Helping out new players and being charitable may be good qualities, but that doesn't make him slicer material. In my opinion he has no sense of humor, and if he does it's hidden under 13 layers of immaturity and a sniveling cry-baby. If you find his bad stand-up funny, I don't judge what you find entertaining, but there are so many better choices that you could make as a new face to represent Loka.

- Slicers should have decent server experience
- Plays on a regular basis
- Be active in the community, talk in chat, help out others, use forums.
- Good server knowledge
- Knows all the rules well

Don't know if he knows all the rules well but he does have the rest of those characteristics.
 
I became a slicer after four months, Laz. I think six months is plenty, and I've seen him a bit, I'm not active right now but I've seen him several times when I've logged on, so he seems pretty active. From what I've heard he seems cool.

You make it sound as if high standards is a bad thing. Having high standards keeps out the riff-raff. Regardless of how long he has been on the server I just don't think he would be the absolute best choice for a Lokan representative. If you could only choose a handful of people, and one had to be a Slicer or nominated Slicer, would you pick Doktor_Duck? I wouldn't. But after all, opinions are weak and worthless unless you back them up with concrete facts, and I think I have. The concrete may not have set quite yet, but my mold is still full and present.

Also, I don't nominate people just cause they crack a few bad jokes and give away common supplies to a noob. I nominate people who I see as capable, caring, and devoted players who can and will represent Loka in a positive light. In recent weeks I haven't seen anyone like that who hasn't been already nominated, a slicer or higher rank, or inactive.

Yes I would pick DoktorDuck; for he has all the characteristics of a Slicer. Your opinion may be different than mine but I still think you have the wrong duck. :p
 
Apparently differing opinions are not welcome as I thought. Tragic. I will not post on the promotions every again.

Differing opinions are just fine but saying someone's sense of humor is 'hidden under 13 layers of immaturity and a sniveling cry-baby' is aggressive and unnecessary. Conduct goes a long way if you're expressing concern for whether or not someone should get promoted.
 
I had doubts about DoktorDuck at first but when he joined my town, he became very loyal and hard working. He has dedicated a lot of effort towards Der Riese 2 and I think he deserves Slicer.
