End the Unfair Treatment of Writers at the Hands of Builders and Other Town Members

Hello all,
Today I would like to highlight an issue that I feel has not received enough attention; writer abuse. As you may or may not know, I am the one in charge of the writing in Pax, and I have been in charge of writing for other towns in the past. Throughout my time as a lore writer, I have found myself with my throat under the oppressive boot of builders and other town members on myriad occasions. Until now I have chosen to keep my silence in the interest of preserving the peace and avoiding conflict, but today saw me receive the straw to break the proverbial camel's back.

This is my story.
My latest writing project has been the religion of Pax (no self-advertisement today). It has become something of a passion project for me, and I have been dedicating a significant portion of my free time to it. When the builders of town told me they wanted to build a temple dedicated to my religion, I, naturally, was elated and agreed immediately. This was my first mistake. It became immediately apparent that I had no say in the style, placement, size or construction of my own temple. On multiple occasions, I voiced my complaints regarding my misgivings about the build (namely my inability to make something of this style work within my story), but time after time, I was dismissed and told to 'figure it out'. In the end, I conceded to their cruel and thuggish domineering, and let them construct the temple as they saw fit.
My second mistake was made when I assumed that I, as the leader of the religion, would be permitted to decorate the interior of my own temple. After being notified that the exterior of the Temple had been completed, I logged onto the build server to see what could be done with the interior. In my act of folly, I began to construct an altar to act as the centerpiece of my temple. By the time I had finished, I had produced a lovely quartz altar, adorned with a red carpet and crowned with a prismarine lantern. It was not a perfect altar, I grant you, but it was mine and of that I was proud. That is when it happened. Thanius, upon seeing the altar wrought by my hand, was possessed by a fit of rage unmatched on any plane of hell, inflamed by the hubris of a humble writer who dared have thoughts above his station. With all the heavy-handed brutishness I have come to expect from his ilk, the blasphemer began to deconstruct my beloved altar before my very eyes. Heartbroken, I stared upon the rubble of my handiwork as the new, builder-approved altar was constructed in its place.
In that moment of heartbreak and sorrow, I was struck with the need to act, and my will was hardened. No more would I allow myself to be ground beneath the heel of the tyrannical builders, and no longer would I allow them to impose their will upon my writing. Until such a time as my ideas were considered to be of the same value as theirs, no more of my labor would they receive.

Writer abuse is real. I encourage all writers of Loka to share their stories to raise awareness for this direst of issues. If, in the depths of your heart, you feel the urge to join hands with the downtrodden, discouraged writers in their struggle against the cruelty of their oppressors, please raise awareness using the hashtag #WritersArePeopleToo. Together, we can defeat the tyrants who would see us crushed beneath their heels.
Thank you for your time.

Tl;dr

one time Jabba refused to write about Lore, I demoted him immediately and put him on house arrest

I don’t doubt what you are saying, town leader privileges are much controversy, but I also think you did what others did, in that you took your story, beefed it up for a more emotional post, and posted your leaders as evil. Tbh I would have just talked and tried to figure out how to make it so you still had control. Don’t hate me pls I just wanted to say this looks very familiar to me.
