Which rank you are applying for: Guardian

What you think is expected of this rank: The normal Sentry responsibilities are expected of this rank plus more added by the rank. I.e, Don't abuse your power, don't abuse your status and manipulate players, helping players in need, log blocking Griefs and actively checking /rx

Why you think you should become this rank: I've applied two or three times now and I can see why I wasn't accepted the last two. I believe I am fully capable of performing the tasks of the job this time through and am ready for it. I am confident that I'll be successful in my en devour.

When you started playing on the server: I began playing on May 20th 2011

Time zone in relation to GMT: -6(CST)

How often do you play (hours a day/week): I play at least four hours a day on school days (4 PM - 10 PM) and on weekends it varies. (Usually from when I wake up to 1 to 2 AM)

+1 is there a reason why high-ups keep ignoring bacon? I'll ask on bacon's behalf for the likes of crypt, mag, and gall to give some feedback here because it seems to be deliberate ignoring to me. Bacon shouldn't need to apply this many times.

Definately +1 from me. One of the few people on the server that I can say I know quite well and I am glad I can say that about you.

Epic, you have come a good way since you've "returned to the server", but ultimately, the two major reasons for our decision are experience and eagerness. I'll talk about the latter first.

We have nothing wrong with being eager to be an admin, but in your campaign for Guardian, we fear you may be going for Guardian for the wrong reasons (rank status alone, the powers that come with it, etc). We normally want our Guardians to feel up to the task of helping to run the server, and not to say that you don't share those feelings, but you seem to be trying too hard to get people to +1 you for Guardian and, honestly, that's not something we want in a Guardian.

A harsh truth I feel you need to know is that when asy promoted you to Guardian the first time, he did it on a whim without consulting any of the rest of us. I don't think you were meant to really be a Guardian at that time, but you were selected to be one nonetheless. I tell you this because I want you to make sure you're applying to Guardian because you feel you can help the server, and not because you feel as though you deserve to be back as a Guardian like before.

Second, with age comes experience. You are certainly one of our more mature, young players, but at 14, there is much you still have to learn in terms of being able to deal with players that can be much older than you, and thus much less respectful. A calm demeanor in dealing with things is something that doesn't come easily. We need to be sure you can handle yourself in the face of disrespect and hostility without losing your cool, and that is something that does concern us as it has shown to be a problem in the past.

This all said, your commitment to the server in helping new players and such lately have been noted and this is a step in the right direction. Don't get down about not making Guardian this time around. Lately, we've had to become more stringent about who we choose to be Guardians, so the rank is becoming a far more difficult one to attain these days, rather than just being one that is earned simply by having spent time as a Sentry. Keep up the good work, Epic, and hopefully this helps you to grow in the direction you need to so that next time around, we can make you a Guardian.

All right, I understand. I'd like to clear up a few things before anything else. I'll start with the +1ing stuff. I feel that ever since I stepped down that people just don't want me as an admin any more. I ask so frequently for +1's because it really boosts my self confidence. I took some time while I was away and I don't lose my cool anymore. I really thought it over hard and i'm not just saying this. I also thought about Zors behavior in the face of trolls and such and I realized that getting mad over the internet just isn't worth it. I'd say i'm a whole different person than I was a Guardian last. I don't know if anyone has noticed me saying this in the past but, I tried talking about Sentries and Log block (before I knew there was rule changes to Sentries) because I'd really wanted to help the server and that fact hasn't changed. Quite honestly I don't care for the prestige that comes with Guardian, all I'm concerned about is helping the server and playing the game. Finally, I believe that Asy should of contacted you all too, I don't think I was quite ready either when I was promoted. I hope this clears up some reservations you had and I can clear up the rest in time. Thanks Crypt.
