Rejected feather bugs

So basically there was recently an issue in vinovia where a player 'took' grippiers items after placing the shulkers. when you feather the block the shulker was at it shows the player taking EVERYTHING, even though he just placed the shulker and didnt take anything.1660684120561.png
here he placed the shulker, but took nothing, but it says he took everything. this is quite dumb and i think it should be fixed as we put this poor man through an hour of anxiety.

If you break a shulker it's logged that you removed all the items from it. There are no item-remove logs created by placing a shulker.

How is it dumb? If someone breaks a shulker how else are you supposed to know what they took?
If you have a placed shulker down and someone takes all of the items out of it how are you supposed to know who took what?

by placing the shulker down and feathering it? it literally shows as taking EVERYTHING in the shulker which can also cause confusion and maybe some guy getting kicked for no reason

By feathering it? Item remove logs are still created from taking items out. It's just that they're also created when the shulker is broken.

I feel like you're not understanding something. If someone breaks a shulker and picks it up they're now in possession of all of the items that were in the shulker. If item remove logs weren't created in those situations you wouldn't be able to tell what was actually in the shulker that was taken, just that a shulker was broken.

If the shulker doesn't have a "block-break" log then that is pretty telling of the fact that everything inside of the shulker was in fact taken as opposed to the shulker being broken. Unfortunately, this is how the logging system works currently and there really isn't a better way of doing it.

I misread what you said, but there was no logs when someone else took the items out of the shulker that overpayed broke which is why it’s getting reported

Player a took items out of shulkers which wasn’t logged which overpayed broke
