So perhaps not a tremendous change in the grand scheme of things, but certainly one I'd like to see (and may be in the works for all I know). Currently in towns somebody does /g title (player) (title) and boom, that person now has a title. Pretty clear and simple stuff. At the expense of some simplicity, I propose a new way to handle town titles.
All in all I don't believe this isn’t a huge change to what we have now, but it's still something worth changing. The more power, and more rewarding job systems are on Loka the better. It opens the door for more, better, richer, user created content to keep people playing during dry spells of conquest. And if you made it this far through my sleep deprived ramblings, thank you and have a wonderful day!
/g title add (player) (title)
/g title remove (player)
/g title list
Now as you may have guessed from that (rather bold) text up there, the new system would allow players to have multiple titles within their town. Now if the system Skuhoo talked about in this post was to be implemented, my above system would compliment it nicely I believe. In the system without a solution like this, a person could earn a title from a job, and then get another. But wait! Now they've lost the first title! That makes it feel like the work for the first title was for nothing. But if a person had multiple titles which they could choose from with /g title list, suddenly that's no longer an issue. Just break out that list and pick the title you want people in your town to see. Also, if towns don't want someone to toggle their title on and off, people with one title would have things more or less work like they currently do. /g title remove (player)
/g title list
