Consider Implementing Group Chat /gc

I think that there should be a "group chat" or something like that... because I have come across the issue of trying to private chat with 3 people or more... it gets too confusing and leads to mistakes... so I think that a new chat can be added where you can invite people into it; this would be very useful... what if it was to secret and couldn't be said in public chat or you were to far away from somebody to use local chat? idk... what do u think?

As I understand it the purpose of this suggestion is to provide something similar to what discord would do but within loka as for various reasons some people can't use those services. Though I doubt many people would use a group chat function because discord is just easier.

I believe you are speaking of something similar to the party chat system on other servers like Hypixel and Mineplex. I personally think this would be helpful for those who do not use discord or cannot use Discord. However, Gibon is accurate in his statement that not many people would use it. If maybe the server had more people on at a time, this could be a great idea!

For most players, the only people you'd need to group chat with are already in your Town/Alliance. As mentioned above, this would be a largely unused feature; Discord or other programs would be better suited for such conversations. The only reason I see for adding this is if there were in-game parties able to be formed for doing dungeons or something, but as that doesn't exist in Loka, I don't think this would be worth adding.

I personally disagree, I think this would be a very good addition to the server for those who can't get discord or skype.

I'm not sure a standalone /gc would be worth it at this time. However, in the more-distant future of Loka, where there are things that require Parties (think party-queueing for battlegrounds, or maybe questing together, running dungeons, etc), I could see this just being party chat.

If you add more /pvp things, then yes lets do it!
