Suggestion Horses and Industries

Like other animals on Minecraft, horses can be quite valuable when killed. Like Llamas, cows, mooshrooms, and rabbits, they drop a source of Leather. However, the previously mentioned spawn only on Ascalon and are heavily protected whereas horses spawn on both Kalros and Ascalon, so my question/suggestion is, should we be able to farm horses in the barn industry? Most other animals can already be farmed in the industry so why not horses?

I apologize if this a feature and I just haven't found the correct input yet, but, to be fair, I've tried carrots, golden carrots, and hay bales, and still no luck :/

One possible problem with this is the fact that it denies Garama access to Leather, without fishing (which is extremely inefficient if you're trying to get Leather). I'm sure there'd be some way to fix this, or to make a trade deal for it, but I'm so lost as to how to fix this.

Questions? Comments? Concerns?

The whole point of this kind of limited resource thing is to force both conquest and trading if you want a resource that someone else has, if someone on Garama wanted leather they would either trade with someone on Ascalon or they would support someone in conquest that would get them leather on Ascalon this is how disparity is created within the game.

Yes, but when towns are unwilling to trade, it forces a standstill. And I understand doing something like this would take away from the "strength" of the Covenant Alliance (and alliances associated with it), but with such a high demand of enchanted books needing to be used for gear for conquest, at least until Crypt figures out a way to destroy the niche of Minecraft pvp, leather will be needed for books for the arcanum. Plus, barns aren't terribly efficient anyways. If the input was decided on to be carrots, we'd STILL have to go to Ascalon to get it. I think it'd be fair because EVERY continent already has horses, so why not make it so that we can farm a resource we should already have?

This really comes down to an Asmund vs Covenant suggestion and, as unbiased as I'm trying to remain in this suggestion (as I think it could help everyone on the server, equally) it would come down to Crypt's/administration's decision at the end of the day.

When the town is unwilling to trade you go for conquest, making a resource available to everyone just because it's useful is not good for having dynamic resources that force conflict. It would mean that only aesthetic resources would be traded, completely removing the point of having things that need to be traded that are also sought after for pvp. Also it would not help everyone equally it would help people not allied with The Covenant. Books also aren't needed for god gear they just help a lot. There needs to be disparity in how resources are distributed to force conflict.

True, but at the same time, look at something like wool. It's embargoed by Asmund (because of sheeps) but you can still technically get it because of the string you produce from the dungeon industry. So how is it fair to Asmund that you can get an embargoed resource but we can't get yours? Not saying that Wool is extremely useful, but it isn't exactly useless either. I understand that it forces conquest and area control, but that seems a little biased towards the Covenant, doesn't it?

Rabbits, horses, and Llamas are not embargoed. That should be your source of leather if you can't trade for it, just like string is a source of wool if you can't trade for it.
