I'll be leaving the server

It has just gotten to repetitive. PvPing, mining, doing pvp again and then keeping doing stuff over and over again, waiting till something mayor happens just isn't my thing, I get bored quickly. And sitting back while watching others do the work just doesn't feel right, sorry.

Tell me if you want your armour and tools back, Dwemer.

Out of curiosity, what did you feel was missing? We're always looking for ways to improve the server. Any feedback we get helps tremendously.

To be honest I am a little bored of Loka right now too, but it comes and goes. Sometimes I want to leave the server -cause reasons- but I always come back. I think it is just conflicting interests in my life, but loka can get a tad, stale. I think it is not so much conflict that is needed, or huge RP events, but littler things. I really liked it when the Brewmaster had those little RP treasure hunts for rare items. They were a positive thing for the server as they provided us with a compotion that was not war/fighting based and gave people a goal other than gathering resources. Maybe I'd we have more events like that, but not nessecarily just the Brewmaster giving out clues.

I still suggest a variety in multiplayer games, individual player stats, and most importantly the PvE element when it's ready. People just need more things to do when they either need a break from survival or when they're the only ones online in their town.

I would if You are able Amp. I hope you find what your looking for. And as Crypt asked what was the things do you think would help that.

I think there should be more things to do and more frequent events. Currently the only activity is to keep mining and building your base, or doing some repepitive PvP. Some people, including me, aren't accustomed to such slow progress. The only thing that sticks us people to the server is the chance to see something great happen.

For instance, sieges on your town or alliance. Even the server itself puts PvP as a main selling point, but we, the new players, expect big, serious fights for territory and not minigames. But most part of the players are in the Argus alliance, big, mighty towns with many members. The few people which aren't part of it are scattered across the place, trying to do their own thing. I say, it is impossible to make a real, large scale siege happen.

But there are probably other events to do then sieges, and I think PvP shouldn't be made a selling point for now. Its misleading.

I think calling VotA and Gulch 'minigames' is misleading, but I know where you're coming from. The problem is no one stays long enough to make anything happen or to challenge bigger towns. It's largely vanilla gameplay in regard to survival and people won't be established overnight. That's what is pushing people away in my eyes. They get discouraged because they can't, as you say, get away from 'slow progress'. That's just the nature of MC survival. We're troubleshooting ways around this, so to speak, but there's not much to be done if we're gonna keep survival play and require people to actually earn their wealth and items.

We also don't 'sell the server' as pvp. It's simply one of the features because of the Territories and battlegrounds. It's far from impossible to make a large scale siege happen because Argus did so shortly after we were formed. We're not putting a foot on anyone's throat either. We're remaining defensive until someone decides to challenge us or call or aid. We're doing this for the very reason that people need time to become relevant in world PvP.

All-in-all, we're trying to implement every element possible to give players what they want. (By we I mean Crypt, the rest of us only help) Right now the prevalent features are territories and battlegrounds/arenas.
