So as Auru has grown to be a bigger town I've noticed that despite the big number of players it shows only half of that is really active while some members haven't logged in since they joined months ago. I feel that although there is nothing wrong with this, it gives many towns a false sense of being large when in fact they are tiny. As I said this doesn't effect much but I'd like to see town numbers simply be more dynamic. Towns should not only be growing but shrinking as well if their members don't log on. But since there is simply no reason to kick inactive members, towns only grow.
So my suggestion can go two ways. Either have members that are very inactive (1-2 months) get kicked automatically or give players incentive to not keep inactive members as town members. For example each town member adds 1 shard per day to the town cost. You could even have the cost be only on inactive members so that you can keep them but they start to costs you.
