As it stands, a large portion of players on Loka do not get the opportunity to participate in Rivi because the lineup is automatically filled with the top 10 players in each alliance. Whilst this does make the fights competitive, it also unintentionally excludes many active players and loyal alliance members from playing. This is very discouraging and can feel unfair to a lot of these players, and increasing the Rivi size count would address this problem in a way that benefits everyone. It'd open the door for more players to play and improve rather then limiting the experience to the same small group of players each time. It would give more inclusion which means stronger alliance bonding as more players gain experience and stay engaged.
This would also help a lot during "AFK Months", where there is little to no pvp happening on certain continents. For example, next month we are unlikely to see any PvP yet we still want to have fun and engaging wars for a lot of our players, it would be enjoyable for our alliance if we had wars we could bring recruits or newer players too, or even average loyal players who aren't considered good enough for regular Rivis. Most alliances can gather 15-20 players for larger rivis like this, and it would also give us a breath of fresh air since it's changing up a system that has been the same for years. Also, solo towns would still be able to compete for normal tiles under 70cp (or maybe 80?) as they do now, no one loses any opportunities, they're simply just bigger now.
Historically, smaller fights like these have been some of the most fun on the server being very memorable and competitive. They help a lot with alliance bonding and even smaller towns, bringing that format to Rivi on a smaller scale would make a lot of the player base happy, especially since I could finally play Rivis with my recruits.
This is a very experimental change, but I think having it for next month would be a great time to test out a change to Rivina. If it doesn't work out in the end, it can always be reverted to 10v10s after a month, especially since Rivis have no almost no real-world impact on continent.
