Suggestion Infested tiles

I went to an infested tile and I'll have to admit, they are pretty underwhelming despite all the hard work put into them. It is pretty rewarding but I feel like the same could have been achieved by having the option to turn a tile into 'Infested' via tile radar, its just a slight burden to go the distance to the tile.

Other than my criticisms, it doesn't really change grinding that much, but either way its gonna be mindless clicking, so I suggest skill-based clicking, on something like a mini-boss that spawns occasionally. Boss-fights seem to be pretty perfect on Loka given the halloween "Witch Hunter" quest, and I feel as if it would be a missed opportunity to not implement it into these new tiles, add a new form of risk to them because-- lets be honest, normal mobs aren't really that threatening.

Thoughts, opinions?

Yeah but they don't want this, the players shouldn't have a choice of where the infested tiles go and the drop rates are quite high not to mention safe compared to a GP cave. Yellow tiles are literally no drop zones.

I agree, mindless clicking bad! If it was something like some way to have a shrine like structure activate in the tiles alongside the generic mobs that spawned.

Just a little something in the background would go a long long way in my opinion.

Yeah the whole point is that you don't have them next to your town sometimes, but sometimes maybe you do. I think maybe making them proportional to the amount of tiles on a continent could be a good idea, however it's too early to say methinks.

As for this I would like to see that at some point but that's PVE stuff and I think quests are much more important for now.

Update: Went into a red-tag infested tile instead of a yellow one, and I never knew cave spiders were so strong

My first thought when I went to a tile was I can just stay here forever with a shulker and Mending armour. And, realistically that's probably what is going to happen. This really does remove a lot of grinding pressure, higher constant drops and mob count. Not to mention this also partially fixes XP shortages towns felt due to no scaling.

I understand that there will obviously be people who don't believe this is enough but it's a massive upgrade from GP caves imo.

I love the infested tiles, but some things feel weird about it:
The tile can and will swarm you with 20 mobs, but it felt like as soon as 30 people were on loka the spawnrates were below what you'd expect going into any other tile at night (got fixed)
And while the variety of items lets anyone grind what they want it clutters the inventory if you don't wanna toss half the items out or throw them in a shulker every few seconds, not to mention having to walk around with 10 pots in a red infestation.

I've strolled into a fair share of them now, and the issue I see is that after a while they just become completely empty and barely any mobs spawn.

I really think some form of passive background shrine like mechanics would help
