Hey all, it's your friendly local parrot here.

Want to know Loka's greatest secrets? Interested in the creation of the server itself? I'm planning an interview with @Cryptite himself, which will be recorded and posted on YouTube! I will be using plenty of my own questions, but I'd love to get some from the community at large as well!

  1. I think a fair question would be "why?". The more I learn about Loka the more I understand just how much effort has gone into, and continues to go into, this server. I Think most people would agree that Loka does have a less pleasant side to it at times (as all things do), and yet you continue doing what you do, despite what we put you through. So for the amount of time and effort spent in your free time, developing, moderating, and just engaging with us in public and in private, for a server you don't profit from, why do you do it? What encourages you, and what makes it worth it to you?
  2. How has Loka changed your life?
  3. If you could go back, knowing what you do now, would you still make* Loka? If so, what would you do differently?

*Apologies to Asymptonic, but Crypt is the one who made Loka as we know it today.

What about it?

Gotta ask about what the real end goal on this server is; it's pretty clear that it's to be successful in conquest but that's still up to debate.
Please also ask about the servers stance on players getting confused on what to do on the server - by this I essentially mean that if players don't get into conquest late game it almost becomes a chore to make sure towns are still alive. This can be seen by older players eventually wanting to make new towns again as it's the idea of levelling a town that is really the main PVE side of this server and once town reaches level 25 and has most of its essential buildings done, there's really not much left to do aside from fishing.

Love the questions so far! Keep 'em coming! Crypt and I have yet to work out a date for this; I'll announce it here when we know.
