Banned for: Assisting Ban Evasion

Hello Lokans,

Today I want to appeal my ban for assisting the player named "Torpiux." He was banned around 40 minutes prior to me for alt account/avoiding SS.

This is my first time being banned/punished on Loka, and I acknowledge that I was at fault here and it was my responsibility to make sure that this player isn't an alt. I also know that I should not have vouched for someone I don't know that well; looking back at it now, it was very foolish of me. I didn't fully realize how serious it was to vouch for someone I didn't really know. I thought I was just helping, but now I see that it caused problems for the server. I know this isn't an excuse, but I really thought he wasn't an alt. I checked his Discord age and his tiers, and he was also in Vaping (Vaping is an FFA clan) at the time. It's been roughly 3 months since I got banned, and ever since I have changed a lot. I have become way more careful when it comes to stuff like vouching for players. I promise I will never do something like that again. If I get a second chance, I will follow the rules and be more careful in the future.

I hope you take this into further consideration and think about unbanning or at least shortening the length of my ban. I hope I can get a second chance so I can spend more time on the server and with the community.

I am really looking forward to getting unbanned because I simply love Loka and love to play the server with my friends.

+1 Core is a nice, friendly, and very helpful player. So when I found out he got banned I was very sad and disappointed, but learning of the circumstances I wasn't surprised, because when a recruit comes to him, and tells him "I want to play Loka, I need your help," he will surely if he believes that person to be legitimate try to help them out.

I just regret not knowing, and being unable to warn him about trusting the wrong people who take advantage of his kindness. And of course, it was his fault for being too trusting, and punishment is definitely deserved because it resulted in someone who should not have been able to play Loka, play on Loka.

But I do believe that intent should matter in regards to the severity of the punishment, i.e. the length of the ban. When a player conspires to knowingly let a banned player play on Loka, the punishment should be harsher than a case like this, where Core believed the player to not be an alt, and thought he was helping the server out by recruiting for his town.

So even if the staff reviewing his ban believe it to be too soon to unban him, I hope they'll take the above into consideration and give him a temp ban of 8 weeks once they reply, because if 4~ months banned isn't enough, surely 6 months would be given it's his first offence of any kind.

And I'm sure he has learned his lesson, and he has shown remorse, so I don't think he'll make the same mistake again.
