If he doesn't have the time to make a simple 2 line appeal that you managed to do, to get unmuted, how much could he really care for it?

I'd argue always appealing on people's behalf can do more bad than good. Probably best for your friends to represent themselves when they can as best they can.

If he would like to be unmuted he is welcome to appeal himself now that his account on Loka is unbanned and he can create a forums account. For now the mute will remain in place.
