Suggestion KB 2 sword debuff (zyre)

I think a lot of us are annoyed mad (coping)
About kb2 being main handed on zyre, zyre was meant for no void no dumb tactics and good quality pvp as of recent they have ruined that experience for others why by using kb 2 to an extent no one else has seen I would like to see maybe a delay in kb usage like an ender pearl or just to remove it straight out of zyre id also like to see thoughts on this topic

You should message a LCR explaining the situation so they can talk about this with admins in the next meeting.

-1, not because i like the meta of kb 2 being around but rather it's a vanilla feature of the game. Loka was made to be as vanilla as possible with just a different system on HOW the game is played. TLDR: kb 2 might be annoying to some but it is something within Minecraft so to that I think it should be kept.

-1 This is a topic something I have debated with myself and I was thinking about bringing it up in LCR but I came to the conclusion that its just a meta people are going to have to get used to for 2 reasons.

-like supa said, removing something like KB swords that are so integrated into the vanilla game is just dumb


-even if you wanted to go through with removing KB swords how would you even go about it?

For example lets assume the debuff for zyre is that all KB swords only do KB 1 enchantments worth of knockback, why create a huge inconsistency for such a essential item, and how would the debuff transfer to wilds pvp? Would it be KB 1 or KB 2?

I 100% agree that it is a frusterating evolving meta but in this case not much to be done about it. The reason it was not a problem in the past was because only recently the majority of players no longer use thorns in fights.

For those who do not see the frusteration allow me to explain: The reason why its frusterating is because it allows good or bad players (mostly bad) to slip away from death with ease. Im sure most can relate but lets say you have been fighting someone or you see someone who is clearly low on pots and they pearl away so you pearl right after them but they just turn around and spam you with a kb sword and they have instantly created like 7 blocks of distance and you can not do anything because you are on pearl cooldown. Might not seem that bad in my explantion but keep in mind most terrain on loka is not just 100% flat so in most cases that KB sword is putting you down a cliff or something of the sort. That being said, I do not think it should be nerfed and I do not really think it can be nerfed good. Ty for listening to my Ted Talk.

I’m so sorry but he fact Loka is being as vanilla as possible Just doesn’t correlate I personally don’t mind if people use kb 2 it becomes a problem when people just stop using regular swords and only use kb its when people have started using kb 2 as a new meta on Zyre where they were meant to make the pvp as clean as the players wanted that’s why we removed end ganking right

For me it’s not the problem that kb is being used as I just said it’s that people have stopped using regular swords I remember end ganks were much more cleaner which is what I think Loka tried to attempt on gank isle clean fun pvp unrelated to actual Loka
if u dont like the meta why dont u just play reaper or roadhog
it’s not supposed to be the meta like it’s just dumb pvp

Not really. End ganking was ultimately removed so that the End could become a yellow-tagged gathering area and so we could add a focused ganking area. Yes we can change some rules here and there on it but something like removing KB would probably need to be loka-wide or not at all.

Too many unique combat changes to something like Zyre and it would almost need to just turn into a /pvp queueable minigame.

Wait is it possible to do that because that not even a bad idea to turn it into /pvp and you just bring the items you have with you in a sense

I have always hated knockback 2 swords; I honestly think pvp in general whether its in conquest or zyre would be more fun if knockback 2 was just removed.
i think loka might be better if knockback 2 didnt exist but knockback 2 plays a pretty big role in conquest objective play and getting people off charges

i have also just not experienced being kb "spammed" that much though most of my pvp on loka is conquest fights rather than ganks so maybe people dont use kb swords as frequently in a conquest fight unless its to knock people off a charge or a tree

See this is what I miss you know kb being minimally used or for certain situations not just spam kb
