Which rank you are applying for: Guardian
What you think is expected of this rank: As Guardian you need to be able to maintain a level head while making some of the most crucial decisions on Loka. Not only do you need to be able to moderate chat at the same level if not higher than Sentry, but make sure that players are not breaking any other rules outside of chat. This includes cheating in conquest, Gank Isle, or posting inappropriate comments elsewhere. You need to have the mental maturity to be able to handle some of the most toughest and serious situations. You must look into the details of every report, categorize them, and be able to solve them in a timely and effective manner. As a guardian you need to understand the way Loka works and be able to instruct the future staff of Loka and the players that are a part of this community, so that things run smoothly. It is a must that you have the skills necessary to be able to fix problems that the server may encounter, and to find solutions for complicated and daunting tasks. You also need to be active and be part of the community, taking suggestions into consideration and talking with the rest of the staff team to see if what is suggested would be viable for the server, and would be beneficial if implemented.
Why you think you should become this rank: I consider myself to be mature enough to handle the difficult tasks that would be placed upon me if I were to be guardian. I am active on both the forums and the server, and I check the discord regularly. I talk with other staff members on a daily occurrence about how we can possibly make the team better and how we can benefit the server. I talk with a lot of the community on discord and give my best efforts to helping Loka. Loka has meant a lot to me in these last two years that I've played and has changed my mindset for the better, helping me grow as an individual and mature. I want to do my best to give back to the community to the best of my ability and I feel as if I have what it takes to push Loka's greatness further. I did resign from PvE due to me moving across the country, but since I am no longer in school, and now fully moved into my new house, I believe I have enough free time to learn more and be a bigger part of Loka than I ever have before.
