We would like to welcome you all to Loka's very own Clip Submission Program! This program allows you to send your funny, shocking, and cool clips to potentially be featured in our short-form content! We strive to bring more players onto Loka and posting short-form content is a great way to bring in new players interested in the server, if you submit a clip that reaches our requirements and is used in our content, you will be rewarded with 400 Orbs.

Requirements for Orb Worthy Clips:

• Must align with Loka's rules.
  • We will deny clips that display bug usage, contain swearing, or break other rules.
• Must be unique.
  • We will deny clips that are near replicas of other player-sent clips or Loka's social media posts.
• Must have a quality of at least 720p.
• Must have a frame-rate of 60 frames per second.
• Must be a clip from playing Loka (like, duh).
• Must have textures that do not significantly deviate from vanilla Minecraft textures.
  • We will deny clips that contain textures that are heavily modified compared to default textures.
• Must not contain any copyrighted material.
  • If possible do not include music, we will add music if needed in the editing process.
• Must not have a watermark. We will credit you!

Clips we Prefer:

• Have the potential to make players want to join Loka.
  • We will more often accept clips that we believe will make new players want to join.
• Are well edited.
• Have clear audio.
• Have high bitrate.
• Are not excessively long or short.
• Show off Loka, specifically:
  • Generally speaking we are looking for clips that show off Loka as a server, in terms of features/gameplay/vibe that separate us from other servers. What we are generally not interested in are montage PvP clips, particularly from places like duels/gank isle. While they are fun to watch and see, they don't represent much unique about Loka that you couldn't find on any other server. Exceptional kills in giant conquest fights with extra flavor like cosmetic slay fx could be good clips, as an example.

Rewards:

• Orbs will only be granted if we use the clip sent.
• Orbs will be given after we upload our content with your clip.
• You will be rewarded 400 orbs for each clip you provide that we use.
  • This is regardless of how many times we use it. It is probably unlikely that we use 1 clip many times, but for sanity's sake the reward is only by the clip.
  • This means if you give us 5 good clips and we use all 5, that's 2,000 orbs!
• Orbs will only be granted if the clip is yours, if you worked with others on your clip, you must decide how to split the reward.

How do I send the clips and get my reward?

1. DM @ChickPro on Discord and say you have a clip to share, don't forget to mention if others worked with you.
2. Share your clip via Discord upload or Google Drive (@[email protected]).
3. Wait for a reply about if your clip is approved.
4. If approved and used in our content, wait for your orb reward in-game and enjoy!

FAQ

• Will I be credited for my clips?
  • Yes, we will credit you in the description of our video if we use your clip.
• Can I edit my own clips?
  • For sure! Feel free to edit your own clips, just remember our requirements.
  • But don't edit it down too much that we can't make use of it. We may edit it further on our end if needed.
