Aegon and I briefly discussed this a few days ago and I thought I'd invite the community to share thoughts on it.

Loka has some truly epic lore. We've had complex politics, particularly in the wake of territories and alliances. We've had great warriors, visionary builders, infamous thieves, powerful wizards, and every manner of creature imaginable. Towns great and small have risen and fallen, wars have been waged, and ages begun and ended.

All of this and more has created the potential for somebody to make some epic fan art for the server. I know that Horned has done a bit in the past:

but I haven't seen him in awhile, and I'm sure that we have at least a handful of people in our community who are capable of producing some more.

If there's enough interest, Crypt could have a competition and judge who submitted the best fan art and hand out prizes. If you'd be interested in participating in that sort of thing, be sure to say so in a reply.

I've kinda drawn stuff before, but it's terrible cause I can't draw. >.> But this is awesome
 
Sadly my fingers are just useless appendages when it comes to drawing, but I would LOVE to see some fan art and I'd support whoever wants to give it a go.
 
I may see what I can do in regards to getting some work done by a friend. I'd love to see some things put together from any source. This does require the players to actually provide some sort of idea for what they want their character models to look like.
 
Anyone that wants fanart of their character model in particular, shoot me an email with details on what you want the character to look like. It will be up to the artist to go from there. Otherwise I hope to see some original works from other sources!

That's a shame. If your artist is still available, I could ask my town and the Dellsmite crew to shoot you some character descriptions.
 
I'd love to feature some character art on the front-page of Loka with links to Roleplay posts on the RP forum as they come. That'd be swell :)
 
I'd love to pump out a good old peice of lokan fanart. Not to feed my own ego but I can make some really great work depending on the medium. I am okay with coloured pencils and pastels. I think my strongest medium is paint on canvas. The biggest wall when it comes to art for me is finding inspiration.
