hi so cryptite mc said lokamc did "network changes" and depending on who you are ur ping either got halfed or doubled or somewhere in between personally i have 20 more ms now so i am very sad but i am curious to see whether overall peoples ping got better so please say here if ur ping got better or worse or you see no change thank u

I had 140ms on canada server and i get 161ms on usa server i cant image my ping rn

at its lowest my ping would get to 120 ms before this which is low for my region but now its 130-140

I used to get around 100 ms and now I get 130-150 which feels super laggy

This is what Cryptite sent me and they did this thing at 9am and you can see my ping going up and spiking a lot ever since

while i havent pvped alot yet with this change by just walking around town and constantly checking my ping it goes from 130-150 when i was home alone (being home alone gives me lower ping cuz i have a relatively big family who are all up to their own shenanigans) while before i would have a stable 120-130 ms even though its a relatively small delay and i havent yet tried it out much in pvp i feel like my ping before was just undeniably better before

its less smooth and more delayed for me but it turns out it affects some people in a good way so we can not really do something other than hoping they find a better solution or revert it back to normal

yes olpx told me his ping went from 40 ms to 20 ms and while that is an extremely positive effect i personally have seen the change have a more negative than positive effect overall on peoples ping but that might be a "finders bias" type thing since i was only out to find people who shared my problem

I've had the exact same problem as znufi my pings risen from 90 to 120-130 and I get loads of spikes to 280-300 ms during fights

the best change though is it no longer spiking to 1k+ ms every time i use town portals

Same as znufi, my ping went from 90 to 110-120 and it spikes a lot

The aim is to prevent huge spikes and remove issues people have when they cannot play due to networking issues across the US. We have players connecting from all around the world with differnet ISPs and in just the last day Lokans have logged in from 44 different countries.

On an a seperate note, I can only report similar to Kiad, on live things have felt smoother recently. This may be the case for a lot of UK players.

yeah my ping has gotten slightly higher like i said though not as unstable as others and some people have reported a positive change. can you show more images of players whose ping has both improved considerably and worsened considerably
