What it be?
A group of player-elected representatives from within the active community that participate in higher-level discussions about the server. As a representative, you will have the opportunity to help give direct feedback and advice on server features as well as having an open channel to bring up issues or concerns. Representatives will have access to a channel and voice chat within the Loka Discord to have direct communication with Head-Staff (The Elders). Additionally, LCRs will have access to a specific forum where they can post threads about upcoming topics. Only LCRs will be able to create posts in the subforum, but all players can reply to threads there as usual.
How it do?
Players who are interested in becoming a Community Rep can apply via the Community Sub-forum similar to other applications. Once we decide on a date for voting, all players who have applied will appear as a prompt for in-game voting. Voters are required to vote in-game to prevent potential cheese. There will also likely be a few restrictions on who is eligible to vote (a minimum playtime within the past 2-3 months for example) so that the nominees are appropriately voted for by the active community, rather than a bunch of alt accounts/bots/androids/nameless ones/etc.
Voting for reps will take place over the course of a week via ranked choice voting to determine the Community Representatives. For info on what Ranked Choice Voting is, please read this article. Once elected, representatives will serve for roughly a 3-month term.
Regarding staff participation, both Sentries and Guardians will, among themselves, put forth one player that represents the entire Sentry and Guardian teams respectively. Guardians are unable to apply to become regular community reps, but Sentries are able to run for community rep if they so choose.

- Regularly active member of the community.
- Represent the views and interests of the community.
- Engage respectfully with other representatives, community, and the staff team.
- Ensure privacy of any information regarding upcoming features that you may be asked about, otherwise most things will be open for representatives to share with the community.
