If you are inside an alliance you should be able to give that person a longer time for /g builder. If you leave the alliance, it expires. Not sure how long it should be (3-7 days?)

laughs in combined town.
I do have to argue though- many people are just constantly getting their builder refreshed each day, as my town is doing. Frankly, this is more of a quality of life for people who are already working in two towns.
