Time seems to be flying on the server. It seems like only months have past when I was welcomed on the server by all of our wonderful admins, and our past and present players. I can't be thankful enough for all the great times, my promotion to sentry, and the people around me. It's always has been pleasure to play on Loka.
Let me begin with my thoughts on how I believe what guardian should become as a rank on Loka. This rank is a step up from sentry, by a long shot. Guardian is the kind of rank where a person really steps up in the server and wants to make a true impact and change. As guardian, giving the up most respect to all players in any non bias situation is what's most important. As a full admin, there is no beating around the bush. Rule breakers, hackers, and x-rayers is a top priority for a guardian to watch over, notice when its occurring, and ban when and if necessary. A guardian should always be online, reachable off the server, and neutral to all parties in all situations. Finally, a guardian's powers will only be used if necessary in whatever the situation may be.
I believe I should become guardian for several reasons. I have spent several days considering my application to become guardian. I have gone through many scenarios, and I strongly believe that I will not only be able to handle the responsibility that tags along, but go beyond. I understand that game play (such as raiding, pvp, and conquest) will be at a minimum, if at all, for this rank that I am applying for. I have not only readied myself for it, but began in acting that in my game play. I have gone out of my way to give respect, help towns build, and give non bias opinions on the server in the last few weeks, and will continue growing this with (or without) guardian as a rank. The rules of the server come second nature to me. I can safely say that I understand the powers and rules of guardian and I am ready for the challenges that come along with the rank.
I understand that I was only given sentry just in the last promotions, but I believe that I have grown enough in the last few weeks that I am ready for a position such as guardian. I have several examples of things that I have done to prove that I have already done the occasional duty of a guardian. From attempting to making WinterFox into a lasting town by helping build walls, to talking to and befriending everyone on the server, including the players who are at rival with my town (Hilo).
Guardian will have a very interesting twist on the server if I am granted the powers of this rank as I have made several plans. Some changes in my appearance on the server will look like this:
- Game play and conquest will no longer have any influences with me. What so ever.
- I will become more active and more approachable on the sever.
- Lottaine's Wool prices will drop from 3d a stack on the market to 2d.
- Hilo will just be a town I am part of. All I will do in game play is make wool.
- I will go out of my way to help anyone in need to help grow the server.
- Finally, making sure the server is safe away from hackers and x-rayers.
Lastly, I appropriate everyone's read, comment, and like in my possible promotion to guardian.
