Suggestion Make Conquest seasons longer instead of a month and increase lock times accordingly

people are having issues right now with locking for 1 month and you cannot imagine 2 months for 1 conquest cycle.No point to shorten it

As said above, you can't just make conquest cycles longer without rethinking everything else regarding conquest.

The timing is such a core mechanics to the game that it has an effect on every other factor.

feel free to introduce different ideas but this is what i was hoping for with the post. make locks meaningful
yeah i definitely want a system to make locks more meaningful to make people actually stick somewhere and think about what they are doing with more strategy instead of brainlessly locking anywhere i dont know how that would work maybe a continent lock? then alliance lock?

I think maybe Town Progression update is what might help with that. That system will have something like a reputation system where you won't have access to full town perks unless you've spent time in the town, etc. This could in theory encourage more town loyalty, but not everybody is on Loka to be loyal to a town, many join to fight and that is their singular purpose.

Either way there will always be continent hopping and I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing.

it’s not a terrible thing but it wouldn’t be a problem if there were fights on each continent and then that would most likely abolish a lot of the town hopping longer locks or a system of you can’t join another town would help

Restricting freedom of movement between towns is a bad idea, just think of all the players that get screwed over by their town owner, have an argument and they take all their items and kick them, now that player is townless and can’t go anywhere. It just feels bad as a player.

if you like continent hopping then you should make it easier to own multiple towns if they’re on different continents or formalize cross continent empires so they can appear as 1 force if they are.
