Make Oceans Great Again!

With 1.13 bringing new ocean content to minecraft, Loka's oceans will need a bit of TLC. This will include adding coral, sea pickles, kelp and much more. We will let you know nearer the time where these resources will be located. As a result we will be regenerating the oceans at some point in the near future. There is no exact date on when this will happen, as we are reliant on 3rd party software to update before we can regenerate the oceans.

The earliest this will happen is in 2 weeks. (It will most likely be longer) If you have any items stored in the oceans that you wish to keep please move them before 10th August! Anytime after this date we may delete anything that is currently in the oceans. This will only affect ocean that is outside of towns.

Also, just asking, but as fishes will be a mob now, is bucket weighted fish fishing going to become a thing?

I don't think so, as it is very easy to throw the fish back and scoop it up again. As a result we would have to keep track of the weight of that fish indefinitely when in mob form.

That might be more possible than you might think. There is some metadata persistence work being done in Paper for 1.13 that would allow for this very thing, which would be tremendous for a lot more ways than just this.
