Hello Lokans and staff, this is my appeal for my ban in November of last year. Since that time, a lot has changed and I feel like I am more than ready to return and be able to play on one of my favorite servers. The username I went by at that time was ADMCrunch, and those who recognize it may be surprised that I'm attempting to come back to this community at all. The truth is that I love this game, and while I took a much-needed break from Minecraft, I want to be able to enjoy it again on this server.
My ban is linked to a tierlist blacklist that occurred because of a conversation I had with another user which was labeled as grooming and harassment. While I and others now disagree that it was grooming, it appears that this server also sees that, as my ban has been labeled as harassment. Because of this, I won't be getting into the specifics of why that is. For anyone who wants to know more you can watch my initial response video on the topic (Link below). If staff is not in agreement with this, then I am willing to discuss it further in a private environment out of respect for the victim. In no way am I saying this to justify my actions, it was terrible and I am deeply sorry to anyone that I hurt or affected. I overstepped boundaries and made the situation worse as it went on. The biggest mistake, however, was me letting it get to that conversation in the first place. There is so much I could have and should have done, but it's in the past, and the best I can do now is to learn from it.
I understand that many people on this forum likely only know me because of this event and never knew me personally, but people who did, knew that this was out of character for me. It is a mistake I will never repeat again.
Since then, my life has changed a lot. I sought professional help and I got my life together. I stopped playing Minecraft for weeks at a time and only logged in when I was bored and wanted to have fun on Legacy for a bit. I tried to fill my life with healthier habits and spend my time more wisely. Now 11 months later I am working a full-time job and going to college. I know that may be a lot to share over a Minecraft appeal, but all of this is to say that I am not the same person I once was.
As of now, I have been appealed and been unblacklisted from the tierlist, and I am unbanned on all Minecraft servers except Loka. This is hopefully my last appeal, and I thank everyone who stuck with me during these times.
