I think muted people have the right to use guide chat what its supposed to be used for,
Only if the person abuses it to talk like they would in public chat i suggest they would get a mute in guide chat untill their normal mute expires.
but whats for sure is that muted people should be able to ask questions to us without having to use discord or another way arround their mute.

Anyone who is permamuted likely has been around the server for a while (as odd as this sounds lmao) and probably don't need to ask questions. Even if they do need to ask, they likely aren't going to use it as intended. Guide chat is very heavily moderated for a reason and we do give out mutes for it specifically already which are separate from public chat, and going by this logic anyone who doesn't have permissions to speak in public definitely should not be speaking in guide chat.

Everyone can still not know EVERYTHING and might want to ask about it i know its their fault for getting muted but if they use the chat how they are suposed to use it i dont think there would be any problem, unless they abuse it ofc

The reason players get permamuted is because they have been proven to be unable to behave in chat. Why should they be trusted with what is in essence public chat in a different color?

What im saying is if there is a seperate mute in guide chat it would also prove if muted people are able to behave wich could maybe act as an important factor in their appeal, and if they can't behave by using guide chat properly any staff from a sentry could mute them in guide chat and this would prove that they aren't ready for an unmute either. and if they do use it properly they can just ask questions like guide chat is intended for. we all already tell people to talk in public chat instead of in guide since it is ment for question and not a public chat in pink.

I don't really see the point in letting them have access to another chat just to mute them again, they got perm muted for a reason

perm mutes are to try prevent people from talking with duh homies, allowing them to talk with duh homies would be bad, no talking with duh homies -1
