Hello all. This is an appeal for a ban I received at the end of July 2023 for cheating. This is my 2nd appeal. I appealed once ~7 months ago.
I received a ban around 10 months ago. At the time, I understood that what I was doing was wrong. I remember that I was often losing a lot of ranked matches and that I would often get quite frustrated about things like this. Also at the time, many of my friends and people I played with were breaking the rules so I also decided that I would begin cheating. Reflecting on this, I understand my mistakes and I do regret my decisions. I then cheated for a few weeks in ranked until I was caught. I immediately admitted to the staff that I was cheating and I accepted the ban. In the past 10 months however, I believe that I have improved as a person. I have learnt many lessons, especially from this incident alone. I think that if current me was in the situation I was last July, I would not make the same mistakes. Also in those 10 months, the people that I talk to and play with in the PvP community has changed a lot and I want to appeal now so I can enjoy playing the server with those people.
Even though many people in the community might not remember me, or know who I am, I hope that everyone can forgive me for the person that I was. I hope that in the future I can have a more positive impact on the server and community. I hope that my appeal could be considered and that my ban could be reduced to being temporary but I do understand if that is not the case as I have run servers myself in the past.
