Suggestion Policies

I think it would be really cool if Continent Capitals and World Cap automatically had swift sailing rather than having to chose it. I think this would make things much more interesting and see different policies used on Loka. You could expand on this by giving towns who aren’t world cap or continent cap the ability to chose one policy per month (only applies to town, not the continent) while capitals have the ability to chose more obviously. This could add some more strategy.

Let me know what y’all think.

In the past I pushed the idea of having capitals get "policy points" which they could spend on policies, with things like swift sailing costing very little, and things like taxes being much more expensive. I think this could be interesting if sort of "super" policies were added that took all your points but gave you something pretty powerful, with you having to choose to balance out or spend them all.

Imo swift sails should just be given to everyone as it makes the server so much more enjoyable.

Although controlling the continent or the world has always been a staple point for conquest (being pretty much the objective). I think reworking it to be more server friendly should be in order. A lot of the policies are near useless. The only policies that are really meta now are Fast Travel, Double Industry Rolls and Airspace Control. There should be more meta picks. When I was world capital and was reading through the wiki, the climate control policy was really interesting and I marked it as a meta choice. Expanding upon that policy with a climate control policy for wood or livestock would be good. (sheep on ascalon for one month please) Ultimately I went with embargoing dark oak and just printing shards (the meta choice). Overall a variety of meta picks would be nice instead of two or three standard ones.

Agreed and some things on the wiki don't even exist anymore.

Re : Its quite overpowered but imo a world-wide Swift Sailing policy that enabled fast travel for every player would be cool, or maybe even disable fast travel for everyone. >:)
