Suggestion Public Chats

The new public chats for different languages (Spanish, Turkish, and Dutch) were a good idea, but currently useless. I don't know if it's just me, but every time I'm in these channels no one is speaking and if you aren't in said channel you can't see the other public chats.

I am suggesting that you make it so that you can speak in a chat, but can also see the other ones at the same time. For example if I join the Spanish chat, I should still be able to see the English one. You should also be able to disable and re-enable this ability that way you don't need to see ALL of the chats and can choose which ones you want to see/speak in at a certain time.

If you played EMC then it should work similar to that chat system and not what the current thing is.

I think something that should also be done is some sort of auto language detector which automatically choses chats for new people. I think part of the issue is that Spanish and Turkish speakers can't actually read about how to change languages.

I also think adding an indicator of chat would be good, although I'm unsure about how people would manage Spanish and Turkish chats at the same time of the main English one in terms of commands and such without making it too convoluted.

Personally I think it would be cool if you could navigate there using the commands solely as an option

I would be willing to say that people of these communities are already grouped together in the same alliances or towns and have a pretty decent understanding of English enough to get their point across. I think the issue now is that the server is not very Spanish/Turkish friendly in terms of pretty much everything outside of this new chats feature. I completely understand, as rewriting everything in these languages would be a lot of work for a relatively small population on the server.

One thing I would suggest (if it isn't already in the tutorial) is to firstly ask which of the supported languages they best speak and automatically set that as their main chat. Like lemon said above,

this would be well implemented as giving players the option to select another language as secondary and being able to see it in a gray shade like this:

Spanish as main chat viewing English as secondary (If you use light mode please highlight this or just submit to the dark side)
(EN) [Settler] FroggyFruit: Hello world!
(EN) [Settler] FroggyFruit: Join Wester Fruitopia or else...

[Settler] Panitom16: Yo soy pro

I know when I play on any server, a blank chat feels kinda lonely so I can understand why someone wouldn't want to sit in a boring public chat channel despite it being designed specifically for them.

That would be awesome, especially if town prompts, tips etc would have some form of separate translation.

My question is just how do you toggle between the chats when you wanna chat in them? Maybe like, /ch p-es and /p-es, substituting whichever supported languages we have? If you just do "p" by itself it defaults to english perhaps?

Imo, /Ch p-T - Turkish, /Ch P-S - Spanish etc, this in mind with being able to opt into seeing all of these chats at once is probably best.
