So I'm pretty new here to loka and saw that the damage was increased by 33%. I saw this and didn't really know why and thought it was just to change things up. Then I saw that this was added during 1.9 when regen was insane where fights lasted hours in just 1v1s. But now in 1.12, Minecraft has fixed that itself and now this extra damage isn't really needed and just makes people die in the matter of seconds if attacked from behind. Just my thoughts don't know if others will agree.

The toughness attribute added to diamond armor in 1.9.1 is the reason for the damage increase. The only "nerf" since 1.9.1 was in 1.11 with the exhaustion changes, where regen was changed to take 6 saturation instead of 4, but in the same changes they also decreased the saturation consumed from various other actions, including attacking, getting attacked, sprinting, and jumping. Because of this, the changes didn't nerf combat endurance much, if at all.

Basically, death needs to happen in Conquest fights; especially in large ones. Vanilla makes it too easy to stay alive so Loka has to make changes to keep the gameplay balanced and interesting.
