I suggest that they make a change in the battle helmets that they give as a reward in the ranked seasons.
It would be nice that when you open your inventory you don't see the battle helmet so you can see the durability of your armor, because as it is now you can't know if your helmet is low.
Or if you can't do that, put it as it was before that you can't see your battle helmet but at least you can see the durability of it.

I remember this being discussed, on how if the helmet slot had a player head (helmet) instead of the armor piece itself it would cause people to not see the durability

the good point is that u should be able to see ur helmet but just if u do f5 or something not in ur inventory bc u cant see the armor durability...

There's no way for the server to know if you've pressed f5 or opened your inventory.

just name the helmet after it’s durability points, or place it in the lore text. problem solved

This would be possible if the helmet were just a single layer thing, but unfortunately they use both skin layers so I'm not sure you could have a CIT which displays them; not to mention how CITs aren't super reliable.
