This is actually a couple suggestions bundled into one. Now, ever since 1.9 came about, we've experienced some major changes to the way combat works. And believe me, I love how dynamic it is now. Problem is, it is now VERY difficult to explore/build/found towns like I have been doing. I learned that the hard way. Skeletons are overpowered, Creepers are a big struggle to kill, and the sheer amount of mobs in the wild that spawn in excess due to the custom world are too much sometimes. So, two suggestions:
1: Nerf the mobs a bit. I feel like each individual mob is just a little too hard/time consuming/durability wasting to kill now. This could especially be a problem in the heat of battle, because when players are battling for territory, mobs can be a HUGE chore to deal with now. Skeletons in particular are really OP now in my opinion, especially due to the glitchy arrow behavior I talked about in a previous thread.
2: Give Hell on Earth a BIG nerf. With 1.9 now in effect, Hell on Earth sticks true to its name. Regular overworld mobs are already hard enough to deal with, but having to deal with Nether mobs at the same time? I think it's too much. Heck, it might even be best to remove this policy altogether.
I would really like if a staff member could consider these suggestions, or at least something along the lines of rebalancing mobs. Thanks for your time
